Churchill Fellowship

In 2016 I travelled through the US and Europe on a Churchill Fellowship.

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust provides travelling Fellowships to Australians (there are also Trusts in the UK and New Zealand) to conduct research and learn from international experience.

My Fellowship project focused on exploring temporary and permanent disaster memorials in the U.S.A., the U.K., France, Norway and Germany. Through this I collated information and recommendations on the planning, creation and ongoing management of permanent disaster memorials and the management of spontaneous tributes.

My blog posts from my trip can be found here and my final report can be found here.
