A Wight wander

It rained for most of the week, it was still raining on Friday when I walked to the Lymington ferry terminal. Isle of Wight bound. No, I didn’t have an umbrella or an appropriately hiker-like waterproof jacket to match my very hiker-like boots. It rained when I looked for a nice spot on the ferry away from the long weekend crowds. It rained as we sailed slowly away from Lymington. But then, halfway across the Solent….the sun won.
