Wilderness wanders

So a disclaimer to start. Photos absolutely 100% do NOT do Yosemite justice. The sheer size of the mountains, the ridiculously giant rock formations, the waterfalls and the trees are all lost in photos. You don’t get to feel the mist off the waterfalls or hear the roar of the water. Yosemite completely blew me away. Not bad for the end of Week 1.

Tunnel View, State Route 41. That's El Capitain on the left, Half Dome on the horizon and if you squint (like I was into the sun) you can see Bridalveil Fall...sort of.

    1. Hi Mairead, 3 days. I did a tour with intrepid. We camped, stayed at Lake Tahoe one night and Yosemite the other. The first night was at a KOA campground, I think the 2nd one was called Indian flat or something. They all also have cabins you can rent. It was super busy, so I’d recommend booking ASAP. Curry Village is the central little town area in Yosemite Valley. Really cute! It’s campgrounds & cabins for accomm. I didn’t see any hotels. Sho
